R129 seat occupancy sensor

Hi all, I have a problem with my passenger side seat occupancy sensor. The SRS light comes on intermittently when someone sits in the seat. I have had this checked and the code read that the seat occupancy sensor is broken. So I have scoured the web for another sensor, having checked with MB that they no longer have stock, and will not be producing anymore. Found out that although stock is showing in Germany this is in fact untrue. This part has proved to be impossible to find. I really do not want to go down the emulator route. So what to do? It seems like MB have washed there hands of the R129, as there are now quite a few things that seem hard to get hold of.

I look forward to some positive responses, and hopefully no one goes off topic.

Your best bet is probably a breaker, although you might have to buy the whole seat base/cushion. Example from a quick Google:

Thanks Bill. Sadly I need black and Harry at R129 is out of those at the moment. I've tried most places, even the States. Come to a dead end at the moment. You can understand why people use emulators.

Bill, or anyone, could you tell me if the leather is glued to the foam inserts?
