R129 early model hard top will not release even using manual method

I have an issue with my R129. I have error codes 10 and 11 for the roof and it is not functioning. The red roof button/light is permanently on. I want to remove the hard top so I followed the method to remove it manually. The front 2 mechanisms unlock no problem as does the rear right hand side but the rear left is stuck solid. It will not budge. Has anyone come across this before? Ami kissing somthing? Is there a lock pin or somthing?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familar with the R129 and this maybe an inappropriate suggestion but have you tried jacking the car up at each corner in turn and seeing if it will unlock after each lift... a long shot but it may flex the body enough to release the catch. Good luck.
