Apologies for anyone who has seen it (or doesn't care) but I found this while trying to mend my hood:

Not sure how much is fact but I particularly like

It's quite a well-known site and definitely woth a read ... I think the stuff about the grille slats is hogwash though!

There's definitely a fair amount of Hollywood "Let's not let the facts get in the way of a good story". Read with a pinch of salt.

For example he goes on about the earlier 4sp hydraulic auto being "awful"...ok, it's not quite as good as the later 5sp electronic but it hardly deserves to be called awful. I did email him about it...it appears he's never actually driven one. Makes me wonder just how much of it is conjecture and supposition?

Talking of Hollywood, there was a Jim Carrey movie on today called Liar Liar in which he drives a lovely gold coloured R129, an unusual colour and one I've never seen before. Best part of the film to be honest.
