I have a 2003 SL500 - bought last year.
Up until now whenever I click the 'door open' on the key fob, the car unlocks and I hear a 5 second buzzing sound which sounds like something pressurizing ( is it a SBC pump self test or something like that ?)
Anyway, last week I had the car serviced by a local non-specialist garage including brake fluid replacement & now whenever I press unlock the car, the pressurizing sound is gone.
Is this one of two things
1) the system is now fully pressurized after a service so doesn't make the noise
or
2) the garage has got something wrong
