Lazurite blue, 6 seats. Two keys, handbooks in wallet etc. Fitted towbar. Very clean, straight and tidy car, with a few minor, age related stone chips here and there at the front. There is a thumbnail sized dimple on the osr door.
One of the previous owners ( I am the 7th ) was an AMG fan, so the car has 20” AMG wheels (in need of a cosmetic refurb, but no kerb rash), AMG steering wheel with gear change rocker switches at the back of the wheel, AMG rear chrome exhaust pipes, and AMG badges here and there (interior), all removable if not to your taste.
The artico and leather interior is in excellent condition, with no rips, marks, or evidence of pets or smokers. Heated, memory front seats, and MB overmats in rows 1 and 2. COMAND NTG1 with phone prep and multi CD changer. Fitted sunroof, not working, so has been disabled.
The car drives beautifully, steers and brakes as it should and is a fantastic, effortless and quiet motorway cruiser, having the V6 OM642 engine and 7sp tiptronic box. In my six years of ownership, I have covered about 17k miles, of which I’d say 75% has been motorway miles. I have records for all work carried out in this time, the mileage was warranted by the previous owner, plus it has good service history going back to about 2012, along with a main dealer/specialist stamped (duplicate) service book, starting with MB Slough on 27.05.09 at 19133 miles. Some big jobs have been carried out, including the known gearbox/electroplate issues, rear shocks and compressor, it has been a well looked after car. I will be selling it with a new mot, which until now has been mot’d at the main dealer whilst in my ownership. The last few mots have seen some over zealous advisories, one of which was back in 2020, stating rear subframe corrosion. I had this professionally treated and rustproofed, using Wurth products.
I’ve had two new Pirelli tyres fitted (all 4 match) since the last mot in August, during which time I have covered around 800 miles. I also have an E500 estate, so one of them has to go, sadly, and I don’t need anything this big now, but I absolutely love this car. P/plate H13 PCP is not included with the sale but is negotiable. Located in Bournemouth, but I do visit Liverpool and Ely (Cambs) from time to time. £4995.
