Ive been googling until i cant google anymore. I need two rear lower track control arms (hold spring and shock absorber) for my w211.
Now does anyone know if the ones from a Chrysler 300c will fit as it uses the W211 rear suspension set up. I cant source any (reasonably priced) ones for my W211 new or used

It took me nearly 2 hours to find the other night . I’m waiting for a better Autodoc discount before ordering

I think weekly?? I’m after 40% :)

They had 40 and 41% on Black Friday but either due to € vs £ conversion or down to sneaky tactics (increasing the price perhaps), the overall end price of the control arms/tie rod ends I was after didn’t actually change from the more usual 38%. This was including the £42 ‘bonus credit’ I have in my account that you can’t actually use in one go.

I ended up finding them cheaper on car parts 4 less, which is basically ECP but cheaper. I have no idea what their business strategy is there, but good to check both!

I just pressed the GO button on two lower arms , two springs , two shocks for £450 delivered , including the right to return free for up to 200 days .
Discount on my app was showing 37% , I panicked that the lower arms might go out of stock and I might have to buy them from MB ;)

Did you happen to notice if there is another bush that needs ordering for the inside of the lower arms where the arm connects to the subframe?
I see the new arm only has a fixed bush at one end ….I’m guessing that’s the hub end ?

The bush is at the subframe end, not the hub.088D1ACF-5171-4B22-A836-A625C17CAACB.jpeg

Cheers buddy , I’d forgotten that excellent pic of you work . I think I’ll leave the work till spring , it’s far too cold to work on the drive !
Gives you time to get some fixings together. From my experience you’ll need :
The large nuts for each end of the arm. They are different sizes (EPC has the details) and the bolts should be OK to reuse.
Nuts, bolts and washers for dampers and anti roll bar (if present). Again, EPC specifies the sizes.

I got them from a company called Hays on eBay.

You don’t need a spring compressor for the rear. Raise the car, place a trolley jack under the inner end of the arm, loosen the nut at the hub end and remove the other nuts and bolts. The trolley jack can then be slowly lowered, decompressing the spring and allowing it to be removed. Remove the bolt at the hub end and the arm is out.

Cheers I appreciate that .
These are for my E class I did the CLK a month ago with new springs and dampers on the rear (the arms were ok) , so I’m aware of what an absolute saga it can be …..took me 2 days .

Yes, forgot you’d done that one. The price of E Class arms is pretty high (twice) compared to SLK which I think uses C Class ones.

Excellent, sorry if i sound daft but what or who is EPC. Do you have a link to hays on ebay for the parts.
I have got so far both rear lower arms
Set of h&r lowering springs
F&R bilstein shock absorbers.
Both Front top mounts
Shock absorber dust covers
I decided against coilovers in the end. I had BC on a car previously and did not rate them at all. Plus im moving the car on after the work is done as i need an estate (without airmatic 🤪)

There are some Meyle ones suitable for the CLK cropping up on eBay for £54+ each at the moment . I might by a couple for my stocks .
The E class ones with shocks and springs arrived yesterday .

EPC = electronic parts catalogue, an number are available online such as Mercedes / Mercedes Car > EPC Online > WebAutoCats.com
Just search on eBay for Kays Fastenings. The nut and bolt sizes are in the EPC.
