Hi All,

So i am looking at installing an AMP and SUB into the boot of my GLC, nothing massive just something to give the base system a bit of a lift, I have already replaced the stock screen with an Android unit that has pre outs and remote so they can easily be fed through the middle of the cabin to the boot etc and thats all fine, my question is as follows.

Obviously i will need to get power to the boot but really cant be ****d with taking apart half the car and running cables from the battery to the boot, the other day i happened across a youtube video where some guys have taken the liner out of the boot and there is a fuse block with a nice fat power cable fed to the underside or the fuse/distribution board.. they then proceeded to bolt the AMP +12v to this and then ground it to a place in the boot.. whats the thoughts on this?? as i said im not going for huge current draw on this just one of these active sub/amp combos which can be hidden away in the boot and add a little something missing.

heres the link to youtube vid, interested what you all think.. obviously the amp etc would be fused separately so hopefully no danger there.
