Rear Wiper not working

Hi.
The rear wiper on our 2005 (55) Viano doesn't work. I've checked the fuse and that's ok, and so I've bought a new wiper motor - but, that doesn't work either. Next thought was to replace the relay, but can't seem to find any info on this in the handbook or online. Any ideas on the relay, or what else may be causing the issue? Rear parking sensors stopped working shortly after we bought it - not sure if the 2 are related?

Before you bought the new Wiper Motor, did you check that there was any power getting to the old motor? It may be that you have a broken wire where the cable goes through to the rear doors. Perhaps number plate light might also be out ?

Hi Steve. Thanks for your reply. The number plate light still working, and have checked the wiring as far as I can. Will see if someone has an amp meter I can pinch to check power

Hi,
Just a cheapie light up tester with a sharp pointed end for piercing the wires would do the job .
