Hello, whilst fixing one electrical problem, my new icarsoft found another.
My Brake Servo Vacuum Sensor is goosed.
This will probably explain my stop/start not working.
Other than going to a main dealer, I'm really struggling to find this part, unless I buy a used item, which I'm reluctant to do.
I've looked in all the usual places to no avail.
Would anyone have any pointers?
Thanks

For engine control/management parts, Mercs can be a bit too sensitive to aftermarket. So general advice would be check the price from Merc (might not be that bad!) or if it is eye watering, see if you can buy the original equipment manufacturer part. You'll need to eyeball the part you have to see who makes it. If you're lucky, you might also see the OE part number on it next to the Merc number.

Post up the part # for us?
As MrGreedy says, worth checking with MB; you can always ask MB Newcastle on eBay to quote you. If you like the price, they'll create a listing for you.

I'm always wary of buying parts from sellers I've never heard of due to counterfeit risk.

How much is the part from the Merc dealer out of interest?
And have you given MB Newcastle eBay store a call to see how much they would sell the part for?
