Removing esl in unlocked position

Yes you have to take the wheel off and the boss.

I’ve done it, will find the thread where I posted pictures of the process later.

why do you have to remove steering wheel? cant you just undo the 4 steering column bolts and drop down?

Yes I’ll be changing it. Ordered a few days ago so should be here today. Just hope it solves the problem.
