I've just purchased a 2023 E-Class AMG Line and it has the touchscreen buttons on the steering wheel, I preferred the older style buttons (such as the photo below)

I'm finding it a little difficult controlling things without having to look at the steering wheel each time. I may get used to it eventually but things like adjusting the cruise control speed is difficult at the moment. I was wondering if there are any ways to fit physical buttons on to these steering wheels? Or is my only option to replace the entire steering wheel?

Don't know the answer - sure someone will though.

Is it just me or are steering wheels far too busy now? I see them and think fighter aircraft! LOL

Just sat in the Mondeo, basic spec, and it has 22 buttons on the steering wheel......

Haha, to be honest I think all I need on the wheel are the volume buttons, call button, skip a song and cruise control. All the buttons on my wheel are touchscreen so I'm finding it a little fiddly as I might try to press 'resume' for cruise control and hit something else unless I take my eyes off the road. Or I might try to increase the cruise speed and accidentally hit the 'OK' button which is directly above as I don't think there's anything separating them off properly behind the wheel.

Does that include the 'nudge' function for the meter? :D😛
Customers are far too savy these days, anyway the meter is attached to the rear view mirror and I've not used it since the first COVID lockdown. Just been doing county council contract work since.

Last time I was in a taxi was on Corfu.......the meter was the least of my worries. Getting to my destination without being the unwilling participant in a major pile up was uppermost on my mind.

Try Istanbul - the taxi driver was making calls (no handsfree) and using satnav on the same phone in a manual car whilst leaning on the horn and shouting abuse to all and sundry. Did not dare look what he was changing gear, with,,,,,,,,,,,,,
