Can a reverse camera be fitted to a 2013 Vito with Audio 20?

I understand that a media interface of some be might be required

Swap the audio 20 for NTG2.5 nav and you can.

Often thought of doing it but there is so much trim to strip out. Is there any easy way?

Easy job an hour or so in a late vito to fit NTG2.5 and for the camera you need a bit more stripping out, more in and early one as the harness has to me built or an adapter fitted.
It will need coding for the camera and the Nav to work.

Theres almost no trim to swop out to install COMAND NTG2.5 ! Just the frame around the stereo levers out, and 4 screws

So even with an aftermarket interface this cant be done with audio 20?

i've seen interfaces quoting audio 20 compatibility though

No theres no screen or video in, you can buy a cheap flat small monitor and camera, but on a vito this new it's comand ntg 2.5 from ebay for less than £500.

No problem with COMAND unit it is all the interior trim to run the cable from the camera.

No, glass rods will go front to back of the vito over the roof lining, then down the O/S A post, easy a post trim to remove just pulls out and then cluster out and across to the Nav.
Tail gate lower trim and use the rods up to the rubber gaiter, thats pops out each end and your there.

Do the cables go above the roof lining or in the top frame rail ? Just wondering as when i do mine the roof lining may not go full length, i might stop it at the bulkhead line , not sure yet. Are there wiring clips you have to buy to hold the wiring up above the roof lining aswell ? Tailgate looks pretty easy .

Nick if you can see it then there are holes for the black MB plugs that take a small pull tie all the way to the front, as the viano is wired like that.
It goes outside the steel boxing to the front.
You could go down the floor channel but the van would need stripping out for that.
I have used the plastic pads self adhesive that take a pull tie as well.
