<div class="bbWrapper">Whilst driving along, I get what feels like a vibration or rumble coming through the floor pan. I feel it when I have my left foot on the foot rest. I can't hear anything, but can certainly feel it.<br />

Is it possible that there is a problem with the anti-roll bar? I can't feel this through the steering wheel as such, and it's not too bad on a smooth road.<br />

I had the tracking and geometry done last week, and asked them to look then, and they reckon there is nothing wrong <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f644.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":rolleyes:" title="Roll Eyes :rolleyes:" data-smilie="11"data-shortname=":rolleyes:" /><br />

Anyone got any ideas what it may be? W203 September 54 plate. I read somewhere that there was a suspension modification for these to be done under warranty, LHS only.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I got this from cold-standing flats left on the tyre after a sharp frost. But if it's constant all-day rumbling and not just on cold mornings it ain't that. Could it be the road surface? Or over-inflated tyres?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Mileage is only 33k. Brand new tyres on the back, but it's been doing this for ages. I am due a new set on the front in a month or 2, as these tyres came from the back. <br />

Maybe I'm being daft and it's the tyres, but the seem pretty evenly worn, whereas the previous near side tyre wore very unevenly.</div>

Grrrr yes you wouldn't fault it on the new A5, as it's really smooth and flat.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Well, if a wheel was well off-balance that would show up on the A5. If it were marginal perhaps it wouldn't. You could wait until the fronts need replacing and find a tyre specialist that sorts problems (do they exist?) and have all four balanced at the same time. Costly, I know. But I'm running out of ideas.<br />

<div class="bbWrapper">The c-class suffers with the handbrake cable retaining clips to brake and the cable rubs on the prop. They are blue and are under the heat trays under the car. Crawl underneath (when the car is cold) and remove the trays. You should be able to trace the cables to see if this is the culprit. <br />

I doubt this is the problem though. It sounds like a tyre problem to me.</div>
<div class="bbWrapper">I've had that problem before, but that was very apparent. Techy guy that drove the car said it would be that, as it only happened on the move. When I picked the car up the service manager said it was a loose exhaust bracket.<br />

Techy also picked up on a bit of a knock turning the wheel a short distance left to right (every half second). Again told nothing wrong.</div>
