Hi ALL YA'LL,

New friends, i'm the proud "new to me" purchaser of a W124 M-B 300TD (which is quite scarce here in Texas)and saw on another www forum that HAYNES publishes a repair manual for the 124 series 300D in the UK.
(that manual is not sold in the USA at all.)

I'm hoping that, as a minimum, that someone here can refer me to a bookseller in the UK that does sell that manual.

(btw, ALL YA'LL is the commonplace "inclusive Texican plural" for everyone withing shouting distance.)

yours, satx
San Antonio, Texas

Mercedes Benz 124 Series (85-93) Service and Repair Manual (Haynes Service and Repair Manuals): Spencer Drayton,Mark Coombs,Steve Rendle: 9781859602539: Amazon.com: Books

HOWEVER if your car is the turbocharged version of the 12V 3 litre 6 cylinder OM603A DIESEL ENGINE its not covered by the HAYNES manual as that engine was only sold in selected markets. The good news is the car is basically a 3 litre turbo diesel and so most of the Haynes manual is relevant :thumb:

A warm welcome. Please leave your weapons and any expectation of gentlemanly British manners outside. You won't get much Texan-style hospitality- some of the members are an acquired taste, a bit like Marmite or roadkill- but most of the folks you meet will be very pleased to have you on board.
