Car
Sl63,honda crf450x, BMW x3, vespa lx50v, Honda goldwing in bits!
My 2006 so class has been in the garage a few weeks due to my motorbike crash and the battery seems flat, the doors won't unlock with the fob. I bought new batteries and still the same.
So I tried unlocking with the blade key and it only seems to dead lock and un dead lock!!
I do have a second key to try (I don't keep the car at my house), and hopefully that will get me in!

But if not, what do I need to do to get in? And does it sound like a flat battery?
Thanks
Matt

Are you following the handbook procedure?

Insert mechanical key into the driver’s
door lock until it stops.
 Turn mechanical key counterclockwise
to position 1 and hold it there.
Pull the door handle until the locking
knob moves up.
The driver’s door is unlocked.
Pull the door handle once more to open
the driver’s door.

The purpose of the blade key is for emergency entry into the car, so it should unlock the door or the boot, how long has the car been in the garage?

No! I wasn't expecting the battery to be flat to be honest.
It's only been 3-4 weeks.
I'll take both keys tomorrow and try and do it properly!
Is it OK to jump start it. I'll put my battery optimiser off the SL on it now I know it won't hold charge to long.

Thanks
