Se we wanted to replace our c class with an s class, I already have a CL which i maintain myself so I know my way around them pretty well. We got one cheap which needed a fair bit of work so here goes:

Job 1, broken key, replaced the shell:

Job 2, dodgy door handle replaced with a second hand one:

Job 3, dead heater/AC blower motor replaced:

Job 4, scuffed wing mirror:

Job 5, dented boot:

Job 6, New thermostat:

Job 7, smelly AC:

Did the job nicely when sprayed down the inlet under the bonnet.

Job 8, replace window wipers:

Job 9, realign door that was closing too far in:

Job 10, replace drivers door window relay (didnt take pics but got a boring video I wont bother uploading lol)!

Job 11, new disks and pads:

Job 12, replace boot pneumatic line so it opens on the button:

Didnt take an after photo!

Job 13, give the car a good clean:

Job 14, lower the car a bit on adjustable links:

Job 15, get some 19s:

Job 16, get the 19s fitted:

Job 17 was some new car mats, again I didnt take pics!

Job 18 was a bottle of redex with a full tank.

Still to do are an oil change, 4 wheel alignment and a new boot carpet lining jobby with a handle!

Last but not least, watch some peppa pig with the kids in the back!!!

I love DIY... I try and DIY as much as I can on my own car. Excellent work bring up the car to standard. How was the condition of the interior when you bought it?

The previous owner was obviously fastidious. :(

Makes you wonder what else he seriously neglected that you can't see.

You're a braver man than I.

The leather was surprisingly good, there were a lot of bits of loose trim which I fixed pretty easily and the command unit is missing a tiny bit of plastic which I can't seem to find online anywhere :/...

Previous owner was a bus company, it was sold at BCA to a trader who I got it off.
A good mate is a merc specialist, he looked over it and didn't find anything major, it drives really nice!

Nice work there, but how did you lower the car?

Using adjustable lowering links, they basically fool the ride height sensors.
