Hi All,

I have the dreaded yellow engine warning light on my S204 2010 C350d. I have plugged it in and the DPF was regened recently so I want to change the DPF sensor to see if that allows me to clear the fault code.

The reference code on my unit is 0 281 006 025 but I can't seem to find one of these anywhere, I can find the 0 281 006 005 or 278 easily but not the one fitted to my car.
BOSCH 0 281 006 005 Pressure Sensor : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive I ordered one of these by mistake so have one, but didn't want to cause issues buy attempting to fit it?

Does anybody know where I can get one or is there an alternative that would work? I am not sure if mine is different to the other w204 c class dpf sensors as it is the 3L V6?

Any help is much appreciated

Cheers

Ben

Why not try to search with the MB part number: A0071536128

Hey, thanks for the advice but I tried them and only get random online stores and they take me to products with a different 0 281 ..... number so I am worried about damage by fitting the wrong one.

Get one form your local MB dealer. It will be the latest type and work first time.

Your choice but on a Mercedes I would pick a part that matches by the Mercedes part number. Most likely both are fine though. The A0071536128 part is replaced by A0061539528 and further replaced by A6429050100. Would need the VIN to find the correct current part. At the MB parts desk any of the numbers is fine, they will give you the latest corresponding part.

Thanks for the help, I was leaning towards not just fitting any old sensor, I would prefer to put the same one back on as you suggest, the VIN is WDD2042252F554923. Thanks for taking the time to help me

A6429050100 is the latest Mercedes part for your car. You cannot get the same part that was on your car and you should not want it. The new one must have replaced the old one for a good reason (some improvements). Both are compatible though.
