I keep getting this 'Oil Sensor' warning light come up when I start the car and engage drive. If you clear the display it eventually turns into an 'Oil Level' warning.

Have checked the oil level electronically and on the stick which is OK and there is no sign of a leak under the car.

Is it more likely to be a sensor fault and if so are they easily replaced?

Thanks

Sean

Get it properly checked out. It could be a simple sensor fault. Or. My C240 would flash overfill. Then oil low. It threw a piston through the block. It was a blocked oil passage.

I think he means it would flash a message saying overfull, then low.

Yes my apologies. I meant the display would flash up the overfill message.
