S211 E500 front suspension/steering creaking

I have an 04 E500 estate, coming up for 150k miles, which has developed a bit of a creak from the front when braking. Mainly at slower speeds when cornering, and not really noticeable from cold. I've just had both lower front control arms replaced, along with a stabilizer and drop link, but the creaking is still there. Any thoughts please?

Upper wishbone balljoints can squeak. Sometimes people focus on the lower arms when actually the problem is higher up

Thanks, it's going back to the workshop on Monday, so I'll suggest it. The creaking does sound as if it's coming from higher up rather than lower down.
