Is this anyone's on here?

Seems a decent honest enough car. Shame it is not a later car and no Keyless Go with a few bumps/bruises but far from terrible on a quick look.

Just trying to decide if it is worth changing my existing E500 Estate for something like this.

Just noticed it says blue leather but looks mostly dark grey/black in the pics. Maybe blue centre inserts and some blue on the upper door cards?

Wondering if this might be a bit more interesting. Not silver either :D

Im guessing that since no one has said otherwise that its an OK price.....looks like alot of money for a near 20 year old, 122,000 mile car. Not much more cash needed for an early (so rather newer) 212.

Was just thinking the same thing that a later facelift E63 is not much more money. Also a later 212 is not silly silly money more for what you get but it is a fair jump. Not sure if I should stick where I am with the E500 at circa £5k's worth. At £10k an E55K might make sense over the E500 but when you start getting into £8-£10k+ then not sure it makes so much sense.

A stack more cash but a 10 year+ newer car with less than half the miles. Also a fair step up I guess from an E55k.

I hear ya.....but I doubt someone looking to spend £11 K on the E55 will have £27k for the E63 FL.....but an extras 5 or 6 k for an early but tidy E63 212 PFL with the M156 might be within range....I've seen ok M157 engined ones (but pre facelift) for sub 20K.

An E63 212 PFL Estate for sub £20k?

So the FL 211 E63 is an M156 6.2 N/A that also was popped in the PFL 212 as well? Then the M157 is a TT 5.5 that started out in the FL 212?

To be fair.....they were not estates....my mistake!! That's what happens when you are on this forum.....when you should be working!!!

The M157 (5.5 TT)was actually in the last few pre facelift 212 models.

The later preface also has the M157 biturbo engine, replacing the M156 NA. I think the M156 was continued in the c63.

Still think I'm swaying towards an M113K currently. Maybe a £5k upgrade cost on top of the E500 could make sense. Not sure much more does at the moment.

It seems alot price wise. I reckon closer to 9.5 or 10 at most based on what mine went for in October.
The seats are the same as mine so dark blue through the centre squab and back but grey around the edges.
I saw the blue e63 and probably that's the pinacle of s211 amg but again it seems really pricey. With that one you are into the "find another" area and it only takes one person to decide that the colour is enough to "overpay".

Thanks and was kind of thinking the same at £10k and sell my E500 for £5k leaving me a £5k cost to change.

Agree on the blue E63 too as a lovely car but needing that one buyer to want to pay a slight premium for the colour really.

I rather miss mine. The cls is better in every way really but I did like the e55.
But they are getting old and even good ones are going to need money spent and it gets quite spendy. Add to that parts availability and down time is almost inevitable. Mine had been pretty much routine apart from the last year and I think I put nearly £5k into it before it went. Should have let it go to wbac before anything was fixed, I'd have been better off but it would be quite likely that it could have been the end of the road for that car and that would have been a shame.
