S212 2015, rapid flashing repeaters when locking car

Morning all, was wondering if anyone can't help me out with this one. I own a 2015 S212 E 250. I noticed last night when I locked the car instead of getting the usual steady 3 flashes from the indicators I was getting rapid flashing for a long time until I unlocked the car again. Also when I was pressing lock and the indicators flashes also the interior lights came on? Weird as f**k. Anyway after about 4 times of this I tried pressing the lock button for a second time which sorted the issue is seems
But has anyone any clue what had happened?
