S212 Spare wheel compartment

Hi all, I recently acquired an S212 estate and am wondering if I have anything missing from the spare wheel compartment.

Is there supposed to be a tray that sits above the spare wheel when you lift up the floor cover?

Also, behind the near side panel cover they is a small storage space.....is this for something specific? I wonder if there is something missing from there also.

On the saloons, the pre-facelift W212 has the cover on top - which to be honest is a bit of a pain to get in/out - and the facelift ones don't have it.

I'd guess that it's the same for the S212!
