Hi all new here I have a 2017 s213 when I purchased vehicle electric boot motor did not work via any off the 3 ways to open it, so I've replaced motor tried it with old module and new module on motor still no success, does this part require coding or resetting after fitment? Also boot lock and soft close work as they should just have to do boot up and down manually at the moment

So a bit more of an understanding now, boot releases on all 3 ways it can via boot handle, key and drivers door, soft close also works just purely have no motion up or down. A friend who had a quick look found with diagnostic equipment found it appear the boot doesn't know when it's open even though the rear parcel shelf retracts when boot lock is released. My ultimate question here is does anybody know where the switch for the automatic boot is located as I guess it's separate to the one operating the parcel shelf.
