If you remove the SAM there is a number that will be comparable to my unit I've linked to. Very possibly the same number.
You should really disconnect the battery, The unit is below the fuse tray, in the fuse box, under the bonnet.
After you have disconnected all the plugs into the fuse tray, and removed a couple or three torx screws the SAM comes out with the fuse tray.
The 2 wire plug into the SAM, underneath the fuse tray is easy to break, it feeds the cooling fan.
Identifying the number on the SAM is first task.
If mine is the samre you're welcome to it to prove yours is totally shot, as it sounds like it is.
While in the fuse box you may find water ingress to be the cause.
