I have just purchased a new ML with command. The navigation dvd has version 4.0 on it. I am thinking this is not the version that should be in a new car, as inside the dvd case it says the product must be registered by 31/12/2005. Does anyone have a list of what the version history's are?

The newest version for your vehicle is 6.3. Your dealer should have supplied at least version 6.1 if not 6.2.
I would return to the delaer and ask them to supply the current version as version 4 is very old these days. The new disks retail at circa £250 from the dealer but you shouldnt have to pay anything.

If they don't change it write and complain to Mercedes HQ at Milton Keynes, they will pass it on to the Netherlands and they will direct the Dealer to change it.
