hi iv been trying to clean my leather seats and door panels on my w124 (mushroom colour),iv tried afew products including "FLASH2" still cant seem to shift some of the dirt, any ideas please..im gona try the magic sponge from auto glym tomoro..:dk:

Most commonly recommended products for leather cleaning and conditioning seems to be Gliptone.

were can i get GLIPTONE near heathrow..

A portable steam cleaner, light degreaser and a horse hair brush will remove heavy ingrained dirt in leather. Then you can move to your light leather cleaners such as gliptone, zaino, swissvax etc;)

Also pop down the m4 to maidenhead and vist elite car care. They do most quality detailing products for the professional.

cheers guys lets see if weather holds out for tomorow....also wats the best air freshner,i do like vanilla and lemon..

Can't answer that one (the Magic Tree new car one apparently is authentic but I tend to steer clear of those) but just used Supaguard's leather cleaner from their kit - did an amazing job! In fact I had a play around with that kit as I have had it for ages but never used it - the alloy cleaner and tyre spray (black, wet look) did an excellent job too

well i tried the auto glym leather cleaner today,no luck...tried the magic sponge and that was a bit better, any more ideas on the subject..

Gliptone, as has been recommended here already. Do a search and there's another thread extolling its virtues. Order it online, the website's a bit (very) clunky but the turn around is quick. I got mine in two days, works well and smells of leather which might mean ou don't need an air freshener.
