Secure Storage Near Ashford Kent, Also Specialist MB Service etc.

Have only just been made aware of this and have no experience of their service etc, but might be of interest.

I will be investigating their car servicing as they are by many miles the nearest specialist MB servicing facility to me!

Update - visited them this morning, owner Paul Blake gave a a tour and history of his facilities, for years he's specialized in restoration of classic MB's but last year 2 large adjoining units came available so 1 is his secure vehicle storage facility (did not get into that!) and the other is kitted out with 3 (soon to be 4) vehicle lifts plus he has employed 2 young trainees, 2 trained mechanics and a well known (to me) MB trained mechanic - Darren, who I know well from his Arrow Fleet Maintenance days when he looked after Arrow Taxi's fleet of C and E class MB's. Having had the email of their T&C's (all simple and acceptable) I'm waiting for a call from him to book my S204 in for an A service and combination filter, and once "lay the SLK up for winter" comes she'll be up there as well.

Update No.2. Just collected the S204 C220Cdi after service by Darren, £226 including the combination filter, advisory about both front suspension arms and bushes needing replacement soon but not immediate so that can wait. She's due MoT by Jan 8th so will see what the MoT says! Haven't driven it yet (wife drove it home, she makes James May look a fast driver!!) but will tomorrow afternoon. Had a chat to Darren, nothing else to report.

Mb Guildford £139 including a underbody video inspection, plus £29 for a oem combi filter from mb.

Unfortunately Guildford is a bit of a hike from here, I've in the past had work done by MB Ashford and they were expensive, the next nearest indie is an awkward 15 mile drive away, and as wife has to follow me and drive there and back is not easy, so having this indie close and easy access is a result. Did wonder if his price was a bit high as previous local indie (in the village a mile away) was cheaper (but found to be not trustworthy and is no longer there, long story!!) Next nearest is Aylesford way, again not an easy drive with both cars as wife is not good at staying close when following so leading is difficult.
