Am test driving an SLK 55 AMG (2005) this Saturday and wanted to ask some questions if I may.
1. Does the 2005 model have any kind of hill-assist or hill-start function as I believe the later models had?
2. Any tips on the best way to execute a hill start in one of these cars (never owned or driven a semi-auto before).
3. Is the reported jerky change down in full auto really as bad as the motoring press have you believe?
4. Do people advocate the use of left foot braking?. It kind of makes sense to me in my head as the left foot is redundant otherwise.
5. Any pearls of wisdom from owners as to things to look out for. The car im thinking of buying has done 44k.
