Bloody AMAZING!

Some of you seen it and some haven't, I've bought a California30. 30 = 30kg lighter and 30 more bhp over the standard Cali. 490hp instead of 460hp.

It's still a baby rari but I love it.

Seriously can't stop driving it, I've racked up over 1K in such short period of time.

The sound is totally different to an AMG or any car I've driven, it's basically like an F1 car.

I'm dropping the car to the dealers for a new set of wheels as I don't like the current ones that are on - getting some OEM 20's on.:thumb:

I will try to get a video sorted soon.:thumb:

Things I love - Engine & gearbox. 7 speed DCT is super quick - Engine is like an F1 car, revs to 8K and pulls all the way.

Interior - it's amazing, everything is wrapped in soft nappa leather, Nav system is nice and easy to use - All touch screen.

Don't like - no trip computer to tell you the MPG etc which probably is a good thing.

According to my calculations I've been averaging just over 14mpg, lol.

anyway, over all a nice comfortable everyday car really, one of the guys on here said a bit like an SL AMG but SHARPER and I think he's spot on.

Hits 62mph in 3.8secs that's the same as the SLS AMG.:thumb:

I'm still not converted, still love the AMG's, but these toys are slightly different in feel and drive, not better or worse just different.

Some images in my Album.

I saw one of these parked up at the Midland Hotel in Morecambe about a year ago and have to say it is one very beautiful looking car.

You are a lucky man, enjoy it... it's a very special car :thumb:

Awesome - love it. Get the roof changed to another colour? I am a fan of the red with black roofs!

Hope to see you in one next;) let me know if I could help.

I'm thinking about the roof, I'm going to ask my dealer.

Wonder who can remap these cars to push it over 500hp, I'll give my friend at West-Tuning a visit soon.

Thanks buddy, it doesn't get that much attention but then I never hang about in it.:D
You hear it before you see it and once you see it it's only for a few seconds lol

I need to relax.

The split 5 spoke's are a really nice looking wheel and a big improvement over the thicker stemmed 5 spokes. It's hard to tell from the pic, but I assume they must be ~20" to fill the arches that much. :)

It's good to have this 'warmer' weather to still enjoy it with the roof down.

cheers, Steve

Very nice. I spent time with one recently and was surprised how comfortable and practical it was. I just wish it was a bit less 'shouty' when pootling about. It's the same for all Ferraris but the transition from quiet to deafening is too sudden and I felt very self-conscious in it.

Thanks Steve.

Yes they are 20''s, the previous wheels were 19'' and looked horrible.

As you say I'm taking advantage of the warmer weather, which is nice before this baby goes in the garage for the winter.:thumb:

Self conscious in a Ferrari ! Never...

To put it in context - The Cali is the entry level model and supposed to be useable day to day. It is supposed to be more subtle and the one I had in blue did blend in rather well. Until the revs rise beyond a few thousand that is and then BWARRRR..........

It is very comfy for an everyday car and goes over speed bumps no problem:D

First time for me in a Ferrari and I am still getting use to the car, it can be very unpredictable little beast, nearly caught me out a few times, totally different to the AMG's but i'm use to them I guess.

Thanks buddy, you're right these wheels are a huge improvement, I love them.

Yellow hmm interesting was thinking black would look good? But will see...;)

Apart from a live remap I really can't think of anything I can do apart from drive it lots before the weather goes back to usual...

Lovely car mate! Looks really nice with your new wheels, Enjoy it pal!

Thanks buddy.
