I received a phone call from a caller saying that I had won 2 seats for the British GP on 8 July

They said they were from Mercedes and responed to my entry in a draw. Is this genuine?

The number of the caller was 01908697986

anyone had similar?

Number is MB Milton Keynes. Did you enter a draw at any stage?

Lucky you, that's the Sunday GP day - be prepared for traffic chaos. I was given race day tickets including park and ride a few years ago as a birthday present, allow plenty of time from the P&R to the circuit, and a major scrum for the bus back to the P&R at the end of the day.

Having worked at Silverstone for 5 years and 'had' to be at the GP on many occasions working it is somewhere I would not want to be on the Grand Prix weekend. I would much rather be in my own sitting room in front of the 4K TV!
However, if you have never experienced the sight, sound and raw energy of a GP then it is something you will remember the rest of your life.
Enjoy!

Congratulations!

If you leave now you may just make the formation lap :D

It’s nearly 40 years since I last attended the GP weekend at Silverstone and while I don’t expect to see as much as on TV it will be an experience. Plus it’s an excuse to put a few hundred running in miles on the new motor.

We’ve been to the British GP 3 times now and enjoyed all of them. As already stated you miss most of the action than you see on the Tele but gain the atmosphere and excitement of everything. Meet some great people and unlike Football, all Fans enjoy in unison.

We’ve not been in the Hybrid era. But did witness the V10 & V8 Era. Looking forward to our next visit to make our own comparisons.

Enjoy. :thumb:

Jebsus, just realised it's 10 years since I last went to F1 @ Silverstone! I think I kept the passes:
