Hey, I wondered whether anyone has had any similar issues with their GLE350. It's a 2018 model and just before Christmas, started to jerk intermittently whilst driving. It's been in our local mercedes specialist mechanic and then our local mercedes dealership garage. Lots of tests done, oil changed, filters changed etc. but they they still haven't identified the issue. We remembered we'd taken a 3 year warranty out when we bought the car so have decided to go through that route before spending any more money. I've just picked the car up from mercedes and it juddered at 32mph in gear 5, 35mph in gear 6 and then twice in gear 8 at around 69 mph. The car has done 71k miles. Has anyone had any similar issues before we potentially spend a fortune getting someone to open up the gearbox

Won’t the warranty work to fix it just get done by MB ?

MB charge £195/hr and the warranty co will only pay £60/hr, they also won't foot the bill for diagnostics

Any engine diagnostics been ran at all ??

Boost pressures, turbo actuator, , map, maf , back pressure sensor , dpf sensor , etc etc etc

Were you aware of the very limited warranty labour cost when you took it out?

£60 an hour is very low. I cannot think that any specialist garage will work for that.

Yes, nothing is showing up. The data from the EEPROM has been analysed and they can see the jerk happening but they are literally just ticking checks off the list in order to identify the issue. Lots of checks and system upgrades have been done already (it's cost us £1.5k up to now). The latest feedback was 'I think it's a bug in the system, but do this list (which is long) of additional checks before we look at that as a possibility' 😱
