Single dong on cls

hi all, I’ve got a single dong after driving a couple of miles. No visual display on dash and it only does it once. The car I’m driving is a CLS 250 shooting brake last week I pressed the factory reset by mistake I’ve put all settings back to how I had them, it’s displaying on start up B7 service due in 25 days which is not correct the car was serviced only 11 months ago, any ideas please

Thanks for the reply the car is a 2013 was serviced last feb. Only done 7000 miles since the service

Is the dong related to the service? I get no visuals when it dongs

On some models the service is due annually and not based on miles.

Mine 'bongs' and the dash displays the service required i.e. A, B or whatever.

What was your previous service?

Many Thanks not sure about the service last year it was done prior to me buying it I expect it was just oil and filter. It was done by merc.

Sounds like you had a minor service 'A' last year and this year is a bigger 'B' service.

Someone will be along to tell you what the B7 service involves...........I've never had one.

Thought about taking out a monthly service plan? Will cover you for B, A, B services?
