SL Door Glass

[V8 Animal]

I've had on back order a replacement door glass as its badly scratched.
2 months in and no firm date with MD
Anywhere I could look?

Hey, try autowindscreens, 08009995000 freephone, or 01246 216200 from a mobile.I work for them and we can usually locate most glass for vehicles, don't take first price though, tell them you have found it cheaper elsewhere, or that me (Tom from portsmouth branch ) recommended you, they may give you a better price, it may not be a genuine glass but if you request Pilkington glass then it's OE spec, they should match the price. Also national windscreens 08009981305 are usually good at sourcing glass. Forget auto glass as they will charge a fortune.

Hi, called them today and got the same answer, on back order with Mercedes.
They did say they've been waiting a while for a quarter lite for a C class and due in January!
So I will just have to wait.

Have you tried some of the specialist breakers ( like Mercman or w140.co.uk ) to see if you can source a good used one ?
