Slk 32

There was one kicking around for £6k not that long ago. 90k miles but even still ..

I thought there were only 263 RHD made with circa 170 no pun intended left! I'm surprised there's that many left given how they don't like gerring wet , they are W210 all over again!

Wow! If that sells mines going on the market!
22,000 miles 9 MB Service stamps multi Concourse winning car, and one previous owner! Original paint and panels in the same default colour!

I sold mine 2 years ago with 45k with one previous owner, got 10 for it. had a tiny bit of rust starting to show, as they do with these models :dk:

@lowmileramg if you ever want to sell, let me know! would love to have one again, miss mine

I've got one with about 16k miles I think. Good little car but shame about the rust problems.

Rust is pretty easy to sort.

My dad bought a really nice red SLK230 last October from Nottingham with only 33k miles.

He removed the wings and sorted the rust out on the brackets. Shot blasted them and re-painted them and waxed them What happens is the brackets go rusty and it eats though the bodywork. There was also a tiny bit on the boot and that was sorted easily.

Id be surprised if there was a better one in the country to be honest lol.

A lot of the rubber pipes to take the water around the boot were also clogged up with rubbish, so id clean them out as well if you have one of these.

The SLk32 in OP looks nice. Still hate that front grille, its dam ugly.

The trouble is I think, these cars are generally seen by the trade as an SLK320 with just a body kit and I think this generally pushed the prices down to a low level! I also think consequently there are a lot of unloved ones out there and with the rust issues not many are still on factory paint!

This tends to push them into the unloved pile but remember at the time of launch this was AMG and Mercedes's fastest roadster!

Again for those that go on 0-60 times, totally irrelevant I know I think an American magazine with warm tyres published a time of 4.6 seconds seconds which is believable as there's a lot of torque and if I remember correctly one as low as 4.3! Still an achievement today! Although how long the small 185 diff will last for is another story!

The body kit was also unique to just this SLK as well as the seats so a fairly special little car in its own little way!

I wonder how many out there are under 25k miles, full MB history and original paint? Or even how many are still left from the original 263 (254 in some publications)?

I think 15k is probably testing the market as things seem to be a little wonky everywhere but I'd say still a great car dwindling in numbers with sub 25k miles and original paint panels at £12500!

Just my thoughts as a biased owner

Big difference between yours and those listed. I put them up as comparisons. Worth spending the extra ... I suspect those two might be quite tired. 25k miles is very nice ... Could be used moderately and be low miles for a long time.
