Slk damp boot issue

On Amazon - Pingi dehumidifier

🤭😁

No, i mean the rubber foam pads that placed either end of rear window seal.
My mechanic ordered some, 1 foam pad is smaller than the other, will fit them at some point.
However i wouldnt know what they are called if i searched online, and MB packaging means nothing to me

Right.
So, changed the pads either side of the seal that runs along the bottom of rear screen, nope, water getting in.

Had the car at cayman autos in redhill, they suspect the c pillar seals, and were suggesting removing them, clearing up the area and then re-sealing the existing seals back at a coat of £1200 no guarantees....

Now, i know garages are reluctant to guarantee water ingress, but that price was too much for me to take a gamble.

Really gutted, i now got a cover over it, and prob may just have to px it for a non convertible run around 😟

I think there is an SLK forum , might be worth asking them . Or an experienced MB specialist garage ?
