SLK R170 battery drain

SLK R170 - Any suggestions what could be draining a brand new battery? Within just under a week car would no longer start - no lights etc. Someone has suggested it could be the interior boot light but how to fix? Thanks all!

Hi there.. if you put your mobile phone in the boot with the camera facing up with it recording video and shut the boot... the boot light should be recorded going off.. retrieve your phone and watch back the recording... then you can rule this out.
could also be the glove box light.. do the same with that.
