Sluggish mercedes vito

Hi all happy bank holiday I have a 1999 mercedes cito v280 petrol on start up its very sluggish like its going to stall but as soon as it has warmed up it's fine any one any ideas please also where are all the speakers located i can only see the 2 in the rear thanks would really appreciate some help

This is a W638 V Class ... the MPV version of that Vito. It's based on a VW Transporter FWD floorpan and has VW's original 12-valve 2.8 VR6.

Not sure many (any?) others here will have one, so if you're stuck a look at VW forums might give some clues. That engine was used in the Caravelle / Passat / Corrado / Golf / Jetta / Sharan (and the equivalent Ford Galaxy and Seat Alhambra). Good luck!
