Spare keys w205

Hi folks,

Unfortunately I think I lost my spare key during my home moving… this or I really hidden it properly.

My car is a c class 2020 w205, has anyone had their fob replaced? How much will it set me back?

Best place to ask is the dealership. You'll only be able to get it from them.

From MB?
By "cut" I assume you mean supplying the metal emergency key?

There may be some Mobile Auto locksmiths that can supply.

Yes MB.. yes all, fob the key cut and programmed.. not sure if price is about right..

I haven’t but for what I have read they seem to all do copies pre 2019 cars

theirs a guy who can do it but you have to send your EIS £130

Have you tried Mercedes Replacement Keys in the Birmingham area.. MRK.. not used them myself but heard good things..

the spare key will be hanging on the hook in that safe place, in the old house..

There are plenty of auto locksmiths around who can do it for hall the MB price

Google your local area or cities that are convenient to where you work or travel

RMK , like most other auto locksmiths cannot programme the latest model keys.
2018 is the latest.

The seller in Post#11 cannot programme a 2020 model key either.
I think the main dealer is the only option in this case.
