Spot the difference?

Can't believe I never spotted this before and the drivers side drl is cracked again! Only changed it earlier in the year.

No one spotted the difference?
The Drl surrounds are different.

The rhs has the black plastic surround that is not perforated, apart from the hole for the ambient temp sensor, whilst the lhs has a surround that is perforated.

The central section between the two is actually perforated.

Should both drl surrounds be the same?

Possibly not. One may be for cooling and the other not required for this.

You need someone else with the same model to confirm, but it's not unusual for things to be visually similar while not being a mirror image left to right on cars.

thanks, I'll check the next similar model I see.

I thought that is may have been replaced by non genuine part

Just checked my E coupé and it is similar. One side blocked, the other almost completely open.
