Hi, first post so hope someone can help. Sprinter 315 started chucking out smoke on acceleration from stand still, clearing when reaching cruising speed. No loss of coolant but noticeable drop in oil level with slight oil leak showing on bottom corner of Intercooler at hose end from turbo side, resulting on drops on ground when parked. Attempted to drive home from Spain, keeping an eye on engine oil level and van ran fine, no noticeable power loss and no smoke when at cruising speed, as soon as van was down at speeds below 30mph or from standstill blowing out clouds of smoke again. At one point had to add 2 litres of oil and stopped to check level again after another 50 odd miles to find exhaust manifold side of engine and wing covered in oil. Recovered van home and cleaned engine bay expecting to find blown turbo oil feed pipe. Started and ran van finding no external oil leaks apart from oil leaking from filler cap which I suppose over a few miles on the motorway could explain oil all over engine bay. Van still seems to be running with no noticeable unexplained noises but smoke bellowing out under acceleration until cruising speed reached again. Suspect it might be turbo seals gone although turbo sounds fine with no loss of power, oil which covered engine throws up a bit of a wobbler, going to remove hoses on turbo side today to check for excessive oil etc. Any ideas folks?

No need to tell ecu pump change.

Maybe one injector is leaking fuel to cylinder have they tested in bench? Have the injector electrical correction values checked, it may give a hint about the leak too...?

Is it checked that there is no continuous regeneration of the DPF on? Sometimes when DPF or some sensor fails, it may start to do that.
