My 2003 208 cdi is in for service and they have texted me saying that in order to change the glow plugs the inlet manifold needs to come off? Can anyone verify this please, it sounds odd that other pieces needs to be removed to do such a thing but then what do I know?

I don't know which engine but would think the 2.1 or 2.7 CDI.Anyone can advice on this please as looks like i will need to do it soon on my own 2004 Sprinter W903
Maybe the Sprinter is different for some reason but I've never had such difficulty on either engine.

seems like manifold should get out of way... well at least the Top part..unless there's a way
