Sprinter limp mode

I’ve recently bought a 2010 sprinter I was on a trip when I noticed a lack of power ,and at high revs the was an air sound coming from under the windscreen,I carried on then the Eml light starting flashing and it went into limp mode and the air sound had stopped does anyone have any ideas any help would be much appreciated thanks
