Hello all

First technical question. On my 2014 C220 estate for several months we have had an SRS fault displayed on the display screen of the car and so obviously when driving the airbag icon is displaye. Just decided today to try and diagnose the issue and my foxwell diagnostic tool is showing the following fault codes:

B275113 The Squib for the side bag "front passenger" has a malfunction.there is an open circuit (found the fault reason for a W204 on this forum)

B1BC797: This one is a problem as I cant find anywhere on the net that gives a definitive explanation as to what this is 😔

I have disconnected the battery and then unplugged and re-attached all plugs under passenger and driver seat which relate to the SRS module, reconnected the battery and then attempted to delete the codes, however they still remain, obviously due to the faults still remaining.

Is anybody able to point me in the right direction as my stubbornness doesnt want this error to defeat my attempts to fix it 😂

Many thanks

Mark

Reading fault codes by proper diagnostic device (which gives description and check list according the code) is not an option?

Ok. All other air bags are seen on module/coding, only front/side has open circuit? Then open the wiring diagram and check which connectors are involved between side bag and SRS module. Though I would be very careful to measure anything in these, 'cat electricity' may deploy the bag...

When and how did fault started, what was previously done to car etc?
