I have a 2013 Mercedes e350 sedan with the flat bottom steering wheel and am looking to upgrade to the 2014 steering column. Is this possible or do I need some sort of adapter or modification? Thanks!

I can't answer your question, but I'm curious to know what you are hoping to gain by this "upgrade"
I would expect a 2014 steering column is exactly the same as a 2013 model as they are both the facelift model.
You really need a friendly dealer with the EPC to check the Part numbers to see if they are different.
Welcome aboard,no idea about your question, but you just might be the first person to ask that question as AMGeed says would have thought the 2013/14 E350cars steering column were the same.

Sorry I didn't emphasize earlier but the steering column in my car (2013) looks completely different from the 2014-2016 model. I attached some pictures below showing how they are different. Also, the reason I am switching it up is beause something happened to the turn signal and now sometimes it wont even work properly and figured I would retrofit the newer one in the process.
Hello and welcome . This image might help explain my answer . MB are forever changing things during production (even in the middle of a run) , there could be all sorts of electrical connectivity/compatibility issues between the two , and that before you get into the mechanical fitment.
It seems you will also end up with controls on the replacement unit that will have no function ?
I hope someone comes along who has successfully carried out this job and can share their experience with you . Best of luck
