Hi,

I was just wondering if there is any product that can be sprayed/applied onto alloy wheels in order to protect them from stone chips? Something none corrosive and invisible, of course

Thank you!

If you find some, double the price, sell it in and become a millionaire :)

Some coatings may be able to resist the effects of brake dust and other contaminants, but nothing that would resist an impact (whilst being invisible).

Never had a problem with stone chips on wheels...
Curbing grazes, yes, stone chips, no....

I remember on my old slc, I got slight stone chipping which was enough to allow water underneath the laquer and start this ‘milky’ effect.

Unfortunately that’s a risk associated with having lacquered diamond cut wheels. If a stone chip doesn’t cause the beginning of then end, then scraping the lacquer off when inserting the centre cap or a tyre fitter with an air gun will.
