I may be a bit OCD, but when any of our cars have been in for tyres or service, the first thing I do is go round it with my Kamasa telescopic wheel brace.
If any of the bolts are reluctant to loosen, it goes straight back to the garage concerned to sort it.

I've not had any issues with garages overtightening wheel bolts after new tyres for years ....most seem to have torque wrenches lying about all over the place these days.
