strobing headlight

ok then my passenger headlamp has decided it wants to be a strobe light flashing on and off when it feels like it tried changing lamps and only when moving any idea on an quick fix? Its a 2000 w220 with hid

Mine started flickering and I had to change both of the 'bulbs' due to colour change but if you've tried that already, sounds like a connector in the loom or in the ballast particularly if only on the move.

is there an easy way to check the ballast and where in the loom would the connectors be

You could swap the ballasts from one side to the other, IF they are not handed.
What ever component has gone Please do not buy from MB unless you have to as there parts are horrifically expensive as far as Xenon parts, and you can now get most parts OEM for way less than half that of MB want for them.
