Stuck in park

After not using my 2009 R230 SL500 for two months other than a couple of starting the engine and letting it run for 15 minutes to charge the batteries I cannot put the car in any other gear. It seems to be stuck solid, any ideas?

If it's like my S204, pull the surround of the gearstick so you can see below, there's a button or switch you can push with a pen or similar, emergency release. Good luck!
