<div class="bbWrapper"><b>bright!</b><br /> <br /> Is that a standard colour?<br /> <br /> it might be worth having that toned down!<br /> <br /> /(</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Interesting for a '99 car that it is pre-facelift.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">it is a standard colour.. there used to be one local to me... i thought it looked stunning.. but then i would wouldnt i!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">They do look nice.....a friend of mine in the States has a factory yellow w124 500E !!<br /> <br /> <br /> talbir</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">There's an 'alleged' F1 spec SL60 AMG in yellow that always pops up for sale. If it had been sensibly priced I might have bought it... then again...</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I quite like it! That colour is more common on SLKs I think.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><b>banana</b><br /> <br /> yes thats the one</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Congratulations on the new car!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">love that - i had an slk in yellowstone and it was ace!<br /> <br /> saw a t reg clk in yellow over Bradford way a few weeks back - it looked wrong!!! think the SL and slk carry the colour well</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Looks like you got a lot of car for the money. <br /> <br /> I'll reserve judgement on the colour until I see it in the flesh. I suspect its a lot more pleasing to the eye in the flesh. <br /> <br /> &gt;Tan what do you mean pre-facelift? It looks like a facelift model to me? <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f615.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Confused " data-smilie="5"data-shortname="" /> Am I missing something?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">There were two significant facelifts - '96, and '99. The second one did have some slight cosmetic changes (not as many as in '96), but the biggest change was the V8 engine ... going from 4 valves per cyl. with variable timing to a simpler 3 valves per cyl.<br /> <br /> This car was obviously built just before the '99 facelift.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Not 100% sure until I might see it in the flesh.<br /> <br /> Some cars suit yellow, The SLK with body kit actually looks ok, not sure a bigger / classier SL does??<br /> <br /> Funny enough I saw a yellow Porsche 993 and a Boxster today walking to work.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Someone I knew had an immaculate Triumph TR6 in Mimosa Yellow (similar colour), and it looked stunning.</div>
