I have just brought a 2015 C220 Sport estate to replace my aged W203 and its lovely except the ride height is too low and on the rough roads in Surrey it bottoms out very easily, Is there a way to raise it easily maybe by changing the spring shims or do I need to change the springs all round to the non sport ones

The shims (rear) will only give you around 10mm ...but you must first determine which ones you have fitted already (4 different thickness available) . The part number or amount of burls moulded on them will tell you their thickness. You might be on the 'max' already.

New springs could be the only real way of raising the car , on my (203) there are no shims on the front , the spring seats in the top of the strut bearing which only has one part number so must be a set thickness.
